Homecoming 2013 Student Volunteer Opportunities

Help welcome alumni home!

Date: October 4, 2013 - October 20, 2013
Volunteering is a fantastic opportunity to network with alumni, learn about your Queen's community, and show your tricolour spirit!
The campus group or club with the highest percentage of members to volunteer wins a pizza party - so encourage your team/ club/ floor/ frosh group to sign up!

Here's what some former student volunteers had to say about their experience:

"It was really nice to socialize with alumni. They provide a unique perspective on the Queen's experience, and allow me to see where I might be in a few years career-wise. I also felt that my participation was very appreciated by participants... The alumni were really easy to strike up a conversation with."

"I had a great experience meeting the alumni and felt happy with how the volunteer experience went. It was a pleasant afternoon and I very much enjoyed the event I helped out with."

"[I really enjoyed] meeting alumni all the way back from '47 and hearing their experiences at Queen's and how some aspects of Queen's have changed dramatically since then, and how other things continue to stay the same 60 years later."
