Join alumni, students and guests in the newly-expanded Smith School of Business Toronto Campus as this panel of industry experts discusses how risky products are managed in the public interest. A casual networking session will follow the panel’s talk. This event is a partnership between the Smith Business Club Toronto and the Smith Centre for Social Impact. Those working toward their Certificate in Social Impact can count this event as one hour toward their conference requirements.

Michelle Hynes-Dawson, Vice President, Corporate Responsibility & Reputation at Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission: Leads social responsibility, marketing, and communications.

Alan Gertner, CEO of Tokyo Smoke an award-winning lifestyle brand that brings sophistication and design to coffee, clothing and cannabis, and works to elevate the cannabis landscape. Tokyo Smoke combines an immersive experiential retail with the international distribution of branded coffee, clothing and licensed branded Cannabis. Previously, Alan was a Regional Head for Google in the Asia-Pacific Region

Paul Pellizzari is Executive Director of Social Responsibility at Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG). He is Chair of the Canadian Responsible Gambling Association. In 2014, OLG’s Responsible Gambling program received the World Lottery Association’s award as the top program in the world. Prior to joining OLG, Mr. Pellizzari worked in public policy, and as research director at EthicScan Canada and a communications professional at J. Walter Thompson and Noranda Inc. He is the author of two books and many articles on corporate social responsibility, and is currently adjunct faculty at the Queen’s University Smith School of Business.
