2012 Queen's Tricolour Guard

All alumni who graduated from Queen’s University 50 years ago are warmly welcomed into the honoured ranks of the Queen’s Tricolour Guard. The Tricolour Guard are invited back to campus to join their classmates in reunions every year, not only on the traditional return date of every 5 years. The Principal and Chancellor will be celebrating and paying tribute to this accomplished group of alumni during a reception and dinner, held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 in Ban Righ Hall.

This registration is for alumni who are celebrating 50 years or greater.

Cost: Tricolour Guard Weekend Package $160 per person
Guest Weekend Package (no class photo) $135 per person

Credit card (MasterCard, VISA, American Express), online banking and 'Mail in a cheque' payment will be accepted. If you select the 'Mail in a cheque' payment option, your registration will not be complete until your cheque is received. Payment must be received no later than Monday, May 21, 2012.

        Check-in at the Holiday Inn.  All Tricolour Guard Weekend Package registrants will receive a complimentary tote bag of special mementos to mark the occasion; your photo-nametag, a reunion pin, a gift from the Holiday Inn (who is sponsoring several Tricolour Guard activities this weekend), and more.
  • 2:00 or 3:00 PM
        Experience Kingston with a guided bus tour, departing from the Holiday Inn
  • 9:00 - 11:00 PM
        Tricolour Guard Social with live entertainment at DOX in the Holiday Inn

Saturday

  • 7:30 - 9:00 AM
        Breakfast Buffet hosted by Alistair MacLean, Dean, Faculty of Arts & Science
  • 8:30 - 10:15 AM
        Robe pick-up in Kingston Hall
  • 8:30 - 10:00 AM
        Professional Class Photos at Kingston Hall
  • 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
        Re-Convocation Ceremony at Grant Hall.  Don’t miss this inspirational event!  All participants will receive
        a commemorative certificate and 50th reunion classes will receive a medal in honour of their achievement.

ACCOMMODATION

The Holiday Inn® Kingston Waterfront Hotel is the host hotel of the Tricolour Guard. We’ve negotiated group rates on your behalf: $191/night (2 double beds) or $201/night (king view room), plus tax. Please make your reservation with the Holiday Inn before April 25th and be sure to ask for the “Tricolour Guard” block of rooms.
